DHARITRI

Environment is the major concern in today's times, by taking this into account, the environmental club "DHARITRI" came into existence. It aims at educating today's youth about the importance of a clean and healthy environment, and promote awareness about maintaining and developing the environment, so that the people of the future generations will also have a chance to survive, and live on this planet.

Mission:

" Through promotion of education and awareness of the environment, through every lawful means necessary, by advocating development, and conducting environmental programs actively and regularly. Dharithri seeks to establish itself as a postive example for the people and the greater community of the world at large, so that the people of future generation, have just a chance to survive and enjoy the better things on our planet as we know them today. "


Vision of our club:

"An ecological club, which by the virtue of its development, will bind together the particular region's economy, ecology and culture forming a positive union of active participants by ensuring preservation and enhancement of their respective habitats, by providing oppurtunities to sustain the local environment, and establish a destination for research and education.

Also by promoting the facts about the environment, we strive to achieve the following important goal:
- To provide a safe and better, if not atleast the present scenario of the environment, by not defiling it in any manner, to the people of the next generation, and making them aware to care about the environment the same. "


Upcoming environment related activities and events:

- A seminar on awareness about environment to several high-profile companies, so that they spend a little (time and money) towards developing a better environment.

- A couple of environmental related programs to which high-profile celebrities are invited. The programs will be telecasted live on television, and radio podcasts.

- A rural trip will be conducted for the members of this club, where the rural population will be educated and awareness will be created about the environment.

- Different awareness programs about the harm of using plastic bags, and promoting use of dust-bins to create a healthy environment. Also steps to prevent pollution.
